On May 14, 2021, before the upcoming board meeting, the check from the 2020 Christmas- campaign could finally be handed over to the sponsorship group. It took a long time until the check could be handed over, the Corona pandemic did not allow it. The Christmas campaign with raffle ticket sales had been organized by the Facebook group 'Lauterberger helfen sich' (Lauterberger help each other). The administrators of this group, Mrs. Manuela Lunk and Mr. Stefan Oppermann, came to the kings’ hut (Königshütte) for the check handover.

But to the prehistory: The Facebook group 'Lauterberger helfen sich' (Lauterberger help each other) organizes donation actions during Christmas time for a long time. The proceeds from these campaigns are used to support associations from Bad Lauterberg. During the Christmas campaign 2020 € 1.000 came together. This sum arose on the one hand from the sale of the raffle tickets, on the other hand group member Mrs. Sabine Eckstein stood by in the so-called ‘Mitmach-Atelier’ (join in atelier) and managed with the great demand - despite difficult conditions imposed by Corona.

Mr. Hans-Heinrich Hillegeist, the first chairman of our support group, as well as Mr. Christian Mühl, second chairman, and Mr. Fritz Dittmar, treasurer, expressed their sincere thanks for this donation in the name of the support group and presented Mrs. Manuela Lunk, administrator of the group 'Lauterberg helfen sich' (Lauterberger help each other), with a small flower greeting as a token of gratitude.
